The Earth Knowledge Network is a diverse group of data, information, and knowledge providers that have joined with us to provide our users integrated access to some of the Earth's most interesting and pressing environmental issues. We have selected each of these providers because we believe they are reliable and important resources for all of us to use in making good decisions for the present and our future.

Earth Knowledge Network Members include Science, Content, Knowledge and Technology Providers.

Science Providers include academic institutions, research organizations, and/or government agencies that provide a wealth of scientific data and information that we make available through our map tools so that our articles can be compared and viewed in the context of geography. *

National Aeronautics and Space Administration
Washington, D.C.
NASA's mission is to pioneer the future in space exploration, scientific discovery and aeronautics research.

To do that, thousands of people have been working around the world -- and off of it -- for 50 years, trying to answer some basic questions. What's out there in space? How do we get there? What will we find? What can we learn there, or learn just by trying to get there, that will make life better here on Earth?
