Green Building
Posts in this category are about Green Building. The aims of green builders are to create buildings which provide their own energy, purify their own wastes, are flooded with natural light and fresh air, and participate in sustainable materials cycles. Green buildings are designed to be adaptable, and materials can easily be reclaimed at the end of their useful life. While they can cost up to 10% more than conventional buildings, they tend to be more comfortable, more desirable in the marketplace, and much more energy efficient.
