Chas Edelstein
 

Mr. Edelstein was a partner at Credit Suisse, Head of its Global Services Group and Head of its Chicago office. He advised many of Credit Suisse’s most important clients including Apollo, BP Amoco, Career Education, Corinthian Colleges, DeVry, Ford Motor Company, and S.C. Johnson. Mr. Edelstein is now CEO for Apollo Group, Inc.



Shannan Marty
 

Ms. Marty co-founded, built and sold “Tracer Research” for an undisclosed amount to Praxair. Tracer was an Inc. 500 company. She is owner/President of Highroads Ventures LLC. Ms. Marty holds degrees in hydrology and environmental law.



Base Horner
 

Mr. Horner serves as an Executive Board Member on the Desert Angels. He is a co-founder of Arch Partners LLC and a Senior Advisor to Cave Creek Capital Management, LLC. Previously, Mr. Horner co-founded of US Capital Partners LLC, and prior to this was Senior Managing Director in the Corporate Finance Division of EVEREN Securities, Inc. (subsequently, acquired by Wachovia Securities). From 1986 to 1996, Mr. Horner was employed at Smith Barney, Inc. as a Director in the Corporate Finance Division.



Loren Acker


Mr. Acker is a research and development consultant to Engineering & Research Associates, Inc. and its Founder, Director and former CEO and Chief Science Officer. Mr. Acker founded, built and sold a division of SEBRA to Haemonetics® Corporation. Other businesses he has founded include: Winged Foot Associates, LLP, EcoSphere, LLC, NyPa, Inc., and WoofSpa, LLC. Mr. Acker is a founding member of Southern Arizona Leadership Council.



Don Wuebbles, Ph.D


Dr. Wuebbles shares in the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for Climate Change and is a lead author on the next IPCC panel. He is the Harry E. Preble Endowed Professor in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences as well as in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois. He is the Director of the new “Center for Transformative Climate Solutions.” He is a lead author on the first and second international assessments of climate change sponsored by the United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Dr. Wuebbles is a Faculty Fellow in the National Center for Supercomputing Applications. In 2007, Prof. Wuebbles was named a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.



Keith Turner, Ph.D.


Dr. Turner is emeritus professor at the Colorado School of Mines, Department of Geology and Geological Engineering. Dr Turner received the 2010 Roy W Crum Distinguished Service Award from the Transportation Research Board (TRB), a component of the National Academies. Dr.Turner’s experience in three-dimensional geo-information management systems includes more than 20 years of collaborations with European Geological Surveys on spatial data management, visualization, and analysis. Dr Turner has served on several National Academy of Sciences committees, including Mapping Sciences (1997-2003) and Geological and Geotechnical Engineering (2005-2009).
