Earth Knowledge Portal now the WISSDOM App

Since 2007, Earth Knowledge has provided an information hub 24/7 which have been respected by technology leaders like Google and as well social media leaders. For 5 years the Earth Knowledge Portal was a free public website incorporating sustainability related information on the natural, social and economic issues of the day with media giants such as BBC, Guardian, WWF, Reuters, NASA, NOAA, Global Heritage Fund. All the information was categorized, cross-categorized and mapped. The Earth Knowledge Virtual Globe provided this multimedia information as well as map data layers from leading government agencies, nonprofits. Google Earth Outreach supported Earth Knowledge’s efforts and provided use of their dynamic Google Earth Tours.

This work further laid the foundation for what is now found in the WISSDOM App. The WISSDOM Portals and Virtual Globes now aggregates tens of thousands of local to global multimedia news and information. WISSDOMfocus is our technology that reads, categorizes, assigns keywords and maps the information 24/7. These tools are now seamlessly integrated into the WISSDOM collaboration, data management tools.
