Frank D’Agnese, Ph.D.
President

After completing his doctoral degree from the Colorado School of Mines, Frank began his 15-year career at the United States Geological Survey. There, he had the opportunity to work with outstanding scientists, nationally and internationally, and to manage very large and diverse teams of scientists. Frank has authored more than 100 professional publications and presentations. He is well respected as the creator of sophisticated three-dimensional geologic and hydrologic models, and his work has impacted both the public and private sectors on a global scale.

At Earth Knowledge, Frank oversees all client and technical work and collaborates with Julia on business development, strategy, and finance. On a personal level in addition to enjoying his time with his family, Frank is fascinated by tree frogs, turtles, lizards, and dogs. He enjoys southwestern food, especially chile peppers - the hotter the better!


Julia Armstrong D'Agnese, M.S.
CEO

Julia’s educational background focused on psychology, business, and international studies from the University of Illinois and Arizona.  She used this training to successfully create her own consulting practice that she operated for almost 20 years.  Through her work, Julia has helped her clients create more successful lives and businesses.  Her strengths include designing a business model, developing corporate identity, prioritizing and pursuing personal and business objectives, building effective teams, bringing ideas to market in effective and profitable ways.

At Earth Knowledge, Julia oversees with Frank: business development, strategy, finance, client and employee relations. In her spare time, she serves as VP on the Board of Directors of Tucson’s Sonoran Sea Aquarium and the Zazzle committee working with community leaders.  In addition to her family, Julia loves singing, dancing, traveling, chocolate and animals.


John McDonagh
Operations Analyst

John is Earth Knowledge’s IT genius.  He is in charge of our Information Technology operations and oversees the installation, maintenance and management of our software and hardware systems, our network and servers.  John is also involved in research and development on several of our geospatial and Web-based projects. 

John graduated from The University of Arizona in Management Information Systems.  He is an expert problem solver – dependable, diligent and creative.  John lives for cutting-edge electronics and technologies, and enjoys travel, surfing and golf.


Debby Bonorand
Office Manager/Accountant

Debby has more than 25 years experience in accounting and office management. She is responsible for the day-to-day administration at Earth Knowledge as well as our accounting and billing procedures. She is the reason the office works efficiently and smoothly. 

Debby is proud of her twin granddaughters (whom she loves to babysit!), is an accomplished artist (oil paintings, mostly landscapes) and has two tabby cats and an Amazon parrot.
